Enter Through the Gate

John 10:1-10 features Jesus using the metaphor of a shepherd and sheep to illustrate his relationship with believers. Jesus describes himself as the true shepherd who enters through the gate, contrasting his legitimate approach with that of thieves and robbers who climb in to harm the sheep. He emphasizes that his sheep recognize his voice and follow him, while they will not follow strangers. Jesus further identifies himself as the "gate" for the sheep, stating that those who enter through him will find salvation, safety, and abundant life. This passage highlights themes of guidance, protection, and the promise of a fulfilling spiritual life through faith in Jesus.
