Communion—also called the Lord’s Supper—is one of the most meaningful practices in the church because it centers everything on Jesus and what He has done.
At its core, communion is about remembrance. Jesus instructed His followers to take the bread and the cup in memory of His body and blood given for us. It keeps His sacrifice from becoming just a distant story and brings it into the present moment of our lives.
It’s also a time of reflection and heart-checking. Communion invites us to pause, examine our hearts, and realign with God. It’s not about perfection, but about approaching Him with honesty and humility.
Communion is deeply symbolic. The bread represents Jesus’ body, and the cup represents His blood—reminding us of the cost of grace, forgiveness, and the new covenant we have through Him.
Another important aspect is unity. When we take communion together, it’s a shared experience that reminds us that we are part of one body, connected through Christ regardless of background or differences.
Finally, communion points us toward hope. It not only looks back at the cross but also forward to the promise of Christ’s return and the future we have with Him.
Communion matters because it helps the us remember, reflect, unite, and hope—all centered on Jesus.

All Jr High Students are invited to a Bible Study in the Student Center. Each week includes real conversations, fun moments, and faith lessons that relate to everyday life. It’s a place to belong, connect, and be encouraged as they navigate both their faith and their middle school years.
Their weekly meeting is a time where those in Student Leadership come together to grow, support each other, and have real conversations about faith and life. They'll talk through what’s coming up, share ideas, and figure out how they can better serve the people around them. It’s not just about leading—it’s about building friendships, encouraging one another, and learning how to live out their faith in a genuine way every day. They will meet in the Student Center.
