In John 2:1-12, Jesus performs His first public miracle at a wedding in Cana of Galilee. When the host runs out of wine, Jesus' mother, Mary, informs Him of the situation. Jesus initially responds that His time has not yet come, but He ultimately instructs the servants to fill six stone jars with water. He then turns the water into wine, astonishing the master of the banquet with its quality. This miraculous sign reveals Jesus' divine power, leading His disciples to believe in Him. Afterward, Jesus, His mother, His disciples, and His brothers travel to Capernaum, where they stay for a few days.
