Dedicating our children to the Lord is an important commitment we make before God. It is through Child Dedication that parents make this declaration and publicly proclaim their faith in Christ and their commitment to pass their faith on to their children. We do not baptize our infants. Instead, we dedicate them to the Lord until they have made their personal commitment to follow Christ and decide to be baptized. We also understand that not all children will be infants when they are dedicated, so we welcome all ages. 

At North Central we believe Child Dedications are,

• An opportunity to thank God for the precious gift of your child.
• An opportunity to publicly declare your intentions to raise your child in a Christian home.
• An opportunity for parents to commit themselves to abide by Biblical principles and to raise their children according to God’s standards. Not only do dedicate your child to God, you also dedicate yourselves, as parents, to Christ and the church.

Pastor Larry will ask all the children being dedicated along with their parents to come forward in front of the Auditorium. He will introduce you and your children and will speak and pray over everyone as a group. Your child will receive a special kids Bible and a certificate. Following the dedication service, we provide a space for families to take pictures.
