The Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is the children’s
missions program of the Assemblies of God. It is designed to teach kids
about global missions while helping them actively participate in
supporting missionaries around the world.

Every year, NC Kids will choose a mission's
focus for BGMC. For 2026, all money raised
will go toward Convoy of Hope.
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, international humanitarian organization whose main mission
is to feed the world, relieve poverty, and bring help
and hope to communities that need it most. They focus on disaster relief, children's feeding initiatives, agricultural training, and women's empowerment.

Through partnerships with local communities and churches, Convoy of Hope feeds hundreds of thousands of children across multiple nations. Their feeding programs:

  • Improve school attendance and academic performance
  • Support overall health and development
The goal is not only to relieve hunger but to invest in the next generation’s future.
Community Outreach
Convoy of Hope hosts large-scale outreach events that serve underserved populations. These events typically include:
  • Free groceries
  • Health screenings
  • Haircuts and family services
  • Shoes and clothing distributions
  • Prayer and spiritual encouragement
These gatherings are designed to restore dignity while meeting tangible needs.
Disaster Response
Convoy of Hope is widely recognized for its rapid disaster relief efforts. When hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, wildfires, or other emergencies strike, they deploy teams to provide:
  • Emergency food and water
  • Hygiene kits and essential supplies
  • Cleanup assistance
