What Is Water Baptism?

Water baptism is a public declaration of your personal faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes leaving your old life behind and beginning a new life in Him. Through baptism, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Jesus calls His followers to be baptized. Baptism is an act of obedience and a way to publicly share the decision you've made to follow Him. It doesn't earn salvation; it's a celebration of the new life you've received through faith in Christ.

Sign Up for Baptism

Let us know you're ready to be baptized! Complete the baptism registration form so our team can help you prepare for this special day.

Attend the Preparation Meeting

The Sunday before your baptism, you'll attend a brief preparation meeting where our team will explain what to expect, answer your questions, and help you feel comfortable and prepared for your special day. You'll receive meeting details when you register.

Come Prepared

We'll give you a special baptism shirt at your preparation meeting to wear on baptism day! Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes. Our team will provide any additional instructions to help you feel ready for this meaningful moment.

Celebrate Your Baptism!

Water baptisms take place during Celebration Sunday, held on the 5th Sunday of the month! Your church family will be there to celebrate as you publicly declare your faith in Jesus Christ. There will also be a special photo opportunity so you can capture and remember this important milestone!
